Classes

Class Descriptions

Tots and Tykes (Ages 2 – 4) Children learn simple breathing techniques to introduce them to yoga. Because children at this age are at a sensitive period for order, we use the Montessori technique to allow them to explore through games, songs, and storytelling for language development. Bi-lateral coordination  and poses that channel tantrums into positive energy are great for this group!

Jungle Kids (Ages 5 – 6) The imagination runs wild for this group! Here we will focus on bi-lateral coordination, Brain Gym®, and use animals to role play to improve flexibility, balance, and overall strength.

Mom & Me Yoga (Ages 3 - 8) This is an amazing class for the parent-child duo.  In this class, mom and child are able to find comfort in their ability to bond, spend quality time together, and learn traditional yoga poses for overall well-being.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Grandparents and dads are welcomed!


Hatha Flow for Adults  This traditional yoga class focuses on the practice of yoga postures (asanas) with breath control (pranayama). Using the YogaFit format to make yoga for everyone, this class is made for everyone, beginner to advanced.
